Each region has its own MeshSonar site, named as on MeshMapper. People driving with the MeshSonar app measure where the mesh really reaches; one sign-in works on every region.

How it works
Drive
Install the app, pair your MeshCore radio and drive. Your phone sends a short ping as you go.
Repeaters answer
Any repeater that hears a ping repeats it. The app notes which ones, and how strongly. Hearing nothing is data too.
The map fills in
Pings upload and are summed into squares on the coverage map of the region you drove in.

A group shows several neighbouring regions on one combined map and leaderboard. Each region keeps its own site.
Start a region
Regions follow MeshMapper’s zones. If yours is not live, ask for it: say who you are and how you plan to keep an observer online, and a MeshSonar admin will review it.
